This creamy, foaming, antioxidant-rich cleanser gently cleanses, nourishes, and hydrates. It deeply purifies and pampers skin, infusing delicate nourishment with African red tea, a youth-restoring antioxidant to strengthen skin, vitamin C to brighten and firm, and borage seed oil to soothe and nourish. Bright and energizing citrus extracts of grapefruit, orange, and tangerine purify and intoxicate the skin senses.
After my skin went crazy I was desperately searching for a new cleanser. I needed something that wouldn’t react badly with my sensitive skin. I was on a hunt for cleansers that were more natural and that’s when I saw Ole Henriksen’s Red Tea Foaming Cleanser. It comes in a 207ml (7oz) bottle for $38.00 CAD.
It’s a foaming cleanser, which I’m usually not a big fan of, but I actually quite like this cleanser! It has a citrusy scent from the grapefruit, orange, and tangerine but not overly strong that it bothers me. I usually like citrus scents so it’s a plus for me. It makes things feel fresh. Foaming cleansers often dry me out, but surprisingly this one doesn’t do that at all.
It leaves my skin feeling clean without feeling like it sucked all the moisture out of my skin. The cleanser helps my skin look vibrant and bouncy afterwards too. You don’t need a lot of product since it foams so it has lasted me for quite a while. Just a note though, I don’t use it as a makeup remover. I always use a cleansing oil to remove my makeup before using a normal cleanser so I can’t comment on how well this cleanser removes makeup.
As always, I won’t comment on the anti-aging factor because I don’t think it’s something we can judge unless we continuously keep up with a product. I always switch to a new product after I finish. I would totally recommend this to anyone looking for a nice, gentle cleanser, especially if you’re looking for something more natural!
