Yuki's earliest memory is of a stormy night in winter, wherein she was attacked by a vampire... And then rescued by another. Now 10 years later, Yuki Cross, the adopted daughter of the headmaster of Cross Academy, has grown up and become a guardian of the vampire race, protecting her savior, Kaname, from discovery as he leads a group of vampires at the elite boarding school. But also at her side is Zero Kiryu, a childhood friend who’s hatred for the creatures that destroyed everything he held dear, is now determined never to trust them. This coexisting arrangement seems all well and good, but have the vampires truly renounced their murderous ways, or is there a darker truth behind their actions. Is Kaname's infatuation with Yuki the beginning of a forbidden romance, or is it something in her forgotten past that draws him to her. Because in this world of secrets, nothing is as it seems. And the price of misplaced trust may even be worse than death.
I felt soo bad watching Zero’s part of the story. It’s just a mess and as the story progressed I felt more and more depressed. The guy just can’t catch a break !
Anyway, check this out! It’s not my usual comedy shows but I thought it was really good. I even got my best friend to watch it haha! My other friend who keeps up with anime/manga kind of gave up because she said she ended up hating Yuki because she’s so helpless so I’m really curious to see what happens in season 2…one day!
In a manor house on the outskirts of Victorian era London, butler Sebastian Michaelis serves Lord Earl Ciel Phantomhive, the orphaned twelve-year-old head of an English noble family and a toy and candy empire, who serves directly under the Queen as her "guard dog". Master Phantomhive's parents were murdered when Ciel was little. As a result, he made a pact with a demon asking for vengeance upon those who had disgraced him and the Phantomhive name, in exchange for his soul. Now, Sebastian carries out any task required by his Master, perfectly solving problems plaguing England with ease, due to his demonic lineage and the Faustian contract with Ciel.
I’ve never really been into yaoi stuff, but I quite liked the two characters together. Although Ciel’s just a 12 year old, he is more than capable of running the empire his family left behind after their death. With the help of his ever helpful butler, Sebastian, he seems unstoppable. Sometimes I don’t even know how Sebastian deals with Ciel’s bratty attitude… well I guess having his soul after makes up for it? LOL.
I almost didn’t want him to get his revenge so I can keep watching them. Their bond is pretty apparent so I was wondering how it would go down when Sebastian was to take Ciel’s soul. I was confused when I heard there was going to be a second season of Kuroshitsuji, but then my friend told me it’s with different characters. The new boy is a ho… LOL.
Code Geass: LeLouch of the Rebellion
The Empire of Britannia has invaded Japan using giant robot weapons called Knightmare Frames. Japan is now referred to as Area 11, and its people the 11's. A Britannian who was living in Japan at the time, Lelouch, vowed to his Japanese friend Suzaku that he'd destroy Britannia. Years later, Lelouch is in high school, but regularly skips out of school to go play chess and gamble on himself. One day, he stumbles on terrorists 11's who've stolen a military secret and is caught by a member of the Britannian task force sent after them, who is Suzaku. As the rest of the squad arrives, Suzaku is shot for disobeying orders, while the military secret, a young girl, gives Lelouch the power of Geass, which makes anyone obey any order. While Suzaku is secretly made the pilot of Britannia's brand new prototype Knightmare, Lancelot, Lelouch becomes the masked Zero to lead the rebellion to destroy Britannia once and for all.
Lelouch is actually a child of royal descent… well partially.. and that leads to the a bigger reason as to why he was living in Japan and wants to destroy Britannia. With his intelligence and the new power on top of that he is able to fight back against Britannia like no one has before. It was interesting to watch his past unfold. Sometimes I get a little annoyed at him, but the actual character that really annoyed me in this anime was Suzaku. I don’t quite remember why anymore, maybe he was constantly whining about something or other.. I’m sorry my memory is total crap haha!
Ah, I think it might because he kept talking about how they can change things without a war or whatever. I think I just wished for him to be quiet and help Lelouch LOL…
Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge
Kyouhei, Ranmaru, Takenaga, and Yukinojou are beautiful, handsome, young men living in a huge mansion. One day, their landlord, whom they call "Auntie", asks them a favor: to make her niece, Sunako, who's going to be living with them, into a respectable young lady. She agrees to make their living expenses free of charge if they succeed, but if they fail, she'll triple their rent. Due to their confidence in knowing how to deal with women, they agree, but once they meet Sunako, they begin to realize that their lovely living arrangements may soon be in jeopardy.
Sunako’s face is rarely shown in the anime because it’s always hidden behind hair. After an incident in the past she refuses to even try prettying up and chooses to retreat to being a hermit instead. Her aunt wouldn’t have any of that though and throws her into a house full of beautiful men much to her horror. I mean for gosh sake’s the men are so beautiful they blind her!
I just noticed this is the only light one in this batch haha!
Anyways these are my all-time favs. I also love watching One Piece A LOT, but it’s still airing so I won’t include it on the list haha. Check these ones out and the other ones I also recommended! I’m sure anyone that’s into anime have already watched all of these, but if you usually don’t why not give these a try? I usually do a lot better convincing when I get to tell my friends the synopsis myself. However, I can’t so I hope you guys can just take my word for it LOL.
